Knitting frenzy!

I like to loom knit and found a bunch of wool and a book on loom knitting, so I put together the following. One is a blue (it sparkles a bit, but doesn't show in the picture) cowl/neck warmer, one is a purple and green cowl/neck warmer and the other are a pair of rainbow legwarmers! They took forever (the legwarmers) but I really like them. The purple cowl is my first cowl! (and can also be worn as a hat!)

I found this quote on an old forum I was flipping through, my friend Kay had a book full of quotes like this one, I thought it was funny, so I stitched it. The G is normal stitching, the lettering is backstitch. I might add a border. Enjoy, and click for the full (flickr) view

I can knit, kinda!

I bought a set of knitting looms at Michael's and actually wasn't bad at it. My first project was a toque, but its a bit small. My second project was a scarf with this really nice wool I found in my basement. I'm happy with my first projects, and I like to loom. It's relaxing. Pics below, and click for Flickr view, enjoy! Oh, the scarf is 5ft long and it only took a day! I can't knit normally at all, but I can loom!
